Greetings

This will be my first ever post, to a hopefully long and successful blog. For those of you who don't know, I'm going to embark on my biggest adventure yet.

In the summer of 2014..... I will be hiking from Georgia to Maine! Or be a northbound thru hiker on the Appalachian Trail. This is a dream of 2 + years in the making.

 I've read and researched.
Spent more money on things than I care to discuss. Only to return those items for something that fits my needs better. (REI rocks).
I've talked about it to so many people.
 Worried that I will fall into the group that leaves the trail early (fingers crossed I'm not). .....Time will tell.

 Summer 2013 is coming to an end. I need start getting into trail shape both physically and mentally.
